Deployed 5,000+ Zebra devices replacing legacy hardware for online grocery fulfillment across 280+ locations.
This large-scale hardware refresh replaced aging legacy handheld devices with modern Zebra hardware across all 280+ Hy-Vee retail locations. Devices were deployed to perform online grocery fulfillment, inventory management, product locating, electronic shelf tag configuration, and mobile payments. Zero-touch enrollment via WorkspaceOne ensured devices were ready to use upon arrival at each store with no manual IT setup required.
Deployed 500+ iOS devices in one week to frontline pharmacy workers for COVID vaccine administration.
During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, 500+ iOS devices were sourced, enrolled, configured, and shipped to pharmacy workers across all Hy-Vee locations within a single week. The entire deployment was zero-touch using JAMF Setup, meaning devices were enrolled via Apple Business Manager and fully configured before they ever arrived at the pharmacy. Workers could begin administering vaccines immediately upon unboxing.
Replaced legacy Trend AV with Microsoft Defender across 14,000+ Windows endpoints via SCCM.
Managed the full decommission of Trend Micro AV across the entire Windows endpoint fleet and replaced it with Microsoft Defender. All policies, exclusions, and compliance reporting were configured and managed through SCCM. The migration was staged across the fleet to minimize operational risk and ensure continuity across all 280+ retail locations and corporate infrastructure.
Rebuilt PKI for the primary domain and a banking subsidiary. Issued certs to 8,000+ devices via NDES & SCEP.
Redesigned and rebuilt the internal Certificate Authority infrastructure for Hy-Vee's primary domain, and separately architected a new PKI environment for a banking subsidiary with different compliance requirements. Implemented NDES and SCEP to enable automated certificate issuance directly to 8,000+ managed devices through Intune, WorkspaceOne, and JAMF, supporting Wi-Fi and VPN authentication use cases.
Deployed 500 Samsung tablets to the semi-truck fleet for ELD compliance and productivity tracking.
To meet federal Electronic Logging Device regulations for commercial vehicles, 500 Samsung tablets were procured, enrolled, and deployed across the Hy-Vee semi-truck fleet. Devices were locked into a managed kiosk mode via MDM and pre-configured with the ELD application. The deployment also enabled fleet managers to monitor driver productivity and track delivery lead times in real time.
Deployed 1,000+ Zebra handhelds for food temperature compliance across 280+ locations.
Deployed over 1,000 dedicated Zebra handheld devices across all food departments at each Hy-Vee location to support HACCP food safety regulatory requirements. Devices were purpose-locked to the temperature recording application via MDM and configured for shared use across department staff, eliminating paper-based temperature logs and providing a digital audit trail for compliance inspections.
Converted all corporate conference rooms and AV equipment to iPad-based control systems.
Modernized the entire corporate conference room experience by replacing legacy AV control hardware with iPad-based systems managed through JAMF. Each room received a wall-mounted iPad configured as a single-app kiosk for AV control, room booking, and display management. The project covered all corporate meeting spaces and standardized the experience across buildings.

Tracks and ranks every restaurant in Iowa by health inspection results, with an interactive map that updates daily — fully autonomously.
Iowa's state Department of Health website provides inspection data through a slow, difficult-to-navigate interface with limited search capabilities. DirtyDish.org was built to solve that — offering a fast, modern UI with an interactive map, advanced filtering, and daily-updated inspection scores for every licensed food establishment in the state. The data pipeline runs fully autonomously, pulling from the state's database on a daily schedule. The X (Twitter) API is used to automatically post daily alerts about newly inspected or updated facilities, their scores, and notable violations — keeping users informed without ever visiting the site. Other componenets and API's include: OpenStreetMap and MapQuest for geolocation.
